^ thats it. I'm hoping to narrow it down to 5 because I cannot afford to apply for that much upcoming senior year
thank you SO MUCH FOR YOUR TIME.
I TRULY APPRECIATE YOUR HELP

i think ur one of the most qualified applicants ever...if u dont get in to all of these schools, the admissions people should be shot....and u will get a ****load of money too

I would say you have a VERY good chance at Amherst, considering your low-income status, since Amherst specifically recruits low-income students and has a sort of 'affirmative action' policy for them (regardless of race). It's also extremely generous with financial aid, which takes everything into account. It also has a great Political Science department (and the unique Law, Jurisprudence, and Social Thought major), as well as a good Asian Languages & Civilizations major, with a great study abroad opportunity at Doshisha University in Japan.

Apply here! I personally think you have a really, really good chance of getting in. So then come here! =)

oh yeah, and ivy leagues help out with money the MOST, so harvard, princeton, yale, look into it bc if u got in which i think u can do considering ur circumstances, ud be paid for

don't tell me your family earns only 6G's a year. Anyway, if you really were dirt poor, the federal financial aid system will notice it and you will really get a virtually free education anyway.

Schools that I know that will give you a free ride if you really are from a family whose income is below 40G's:

Yale, University of Richmond (VA), College of William and Mary (VA)

U of R will fill all of your financial aid needs guaranteed, and W&M has something called the Gateway, you should inquire about it. It's Mr. Jefferson's college too, so you'll know where UVA got their smarts from, lol.

Apply to the Questbridge Program, they match low-income students with top colleges like Stanford, Williams, Amherst, and other awesome universities and Liberal Arts colleges. Additionally you get a full ride, and are able to apply to as many of the participating universities and colleges. That's kind of how it works, for more info go to questbridge.org, and go to the college match tab.

1 on the "entitlement index" is likely an unfavorable candidate for limited time and money for applications next year.

A lot of colleges should make you a good offer, how high that scale climbs is an individual question. Some colleges are not usually very favorable to poor families, W&L comes to mind (look at its % Pell grant population, one of the lowest).
