<p>So now we are enlightened. It occurs to me however, that USNA should clean up there policy enforcement to the extent that they don't have to look for a "media savy" offense to say goodbye to a Mid. Were any of these prior "conduct" offenses honor related?</p>
<p>no, they were not honor related. however, from what I have gathered, all the offenses that were listed in the newspaper (supposedly committed by several female midshipman) were, in fact, grave exaggerations or bold face lies. If you think about it, one who is being separated from the academy has nothing to lose, and since, in this case, he mentioned no names in the article, it is, technically, not slander. </p>
