Hiya-

To anyone who has had some experience, how is the new Antrho lab? I've just been accepted EA, and the quality of Dickinson's Anthro department would be a major deciding factor for me.

Thanks!

Dickinson is a Liberal Arts School. Its Antro program is cultural. The means they mostly read and write essays about culture. If you want scientific and technical exploration, my opinion is that a science school would be better. At Dickinson, science and technology always take a back seat to political matters. Bu that is the kind of school it is. As Pfizer's PR people say; "Science will out."

I know an anthropology major who studied abroad her entire junior year in Europe (I don't remember exactly where) and she did plenty of "scientific and technical exploration". I would email the department directly, I'm sure they could put you in touch with past and current students who could better answer your questions.
SMD- do you work for Pfizer? I do, just wondered what you are referring to?
"Science will out"?
