I was hoping somebody would have some input on the Anthropology program at Cornell. Is that a weird major for a pre-law track? I like how it blends many of my interests. I am telling myself not to worry about deciding. It is kind of a blessing and a curse being interested in so many majors. lol I am debating between a billion: History, Government, Comparative Lit, Economics, Anthropology (duh), Classics, Religion, Near Eastern Studies, African Studies, and and even ILR (if I apply to that college). Decisions......decisions.....decisions......

Ah this thread is perfect! I am also quite interested in anthropology at Cornell and anthropology in general. I hope to be pre-law too. I am also interested in anthropology as it combines all of my interests (foreign languages, cultural studies, history, sociology, biology). Can someone comment on the anthropology department at Cornell?

Me too. Interested in anthropology but would like to pursue law…

I am an archaeology major…which is close to anthro - most of the classes are cross listed as anthro/arkeo classes. I’ve had a great experience in the program, it’s fairly small student-wise, but there are a ton of classes and professors (since a lot of people are not arkeo/anthro majors…just taking the classes to get rid of requirements). I’m not sure about anything regarding pursuing law afterwards - but I can tell you that the profs are great, and there is a large variety of classes.
