<p>friend of mine got offered a job at a international manufacturer of heavy machinery, $65K, no CPA required. turned that down to do public accounting that offered about $10K less. the manufacturer paid so high because you would be moving across the United States frequently, like every 6 months. </p>
<p>every company has a finance department that needs accountants.</p>
