Any advice for SAT preperation?

I realized that I really effed up on the SAT math section yesterday T_T

I go to a private tutor but he stresses "Readings" so much. I can almost guarantee I did really well on the reading but messed up on the math.

Anybody have advice as to how I can improve my score on the math section? T_T

yes, look at every SAT forum on CC.

i was going to say the same exact thing LOL!

What? I don't know if thats sarcastic or not. I came here to get help not get some snide remark.

he was making a remark about the fac that the dec 05 test was the same as the jan 07

therefore you should look at the old sat forums on cc

Any other advice? Practical advice? >_>

for real practice, I always felt that online prep was really effective. check out smartdoodle.com bc it's free and the explanations are really thorough (even for math). message me if you have any Q's

hmmm............lacerprecision, for the third time u've said abt their website!! (alrite forget abt that!) people out here CAN be pretty sarcastic and many sometimes ARE!! Don't worry u'll soon get used to this and u urself will start to have the same characterisitcs! Again, I'd also suggest u to search CC, there's a hell lot of useful info which are very easily accessible, so why just waiting for others to reply which may take u to wait for two to three days whereas u can get answers to ur quesions in a second or two?

blue book helps

whoa whoa whoa!

ETS actually reuses SATI's?!?

they 'actually' should reuse SAT I's (in my point of view)

asifkhan, well I'll admit I do love the company...they gave me free test prep (and it did boost my score a bit to the upper 2300s) so I figure free publicity for them can't hurt, right?

that's alrite (I answered this comment in some other post :)

I'd say get a new tutor, lol. But other than that... Just do lots of math practice tests and learn how to do all the problems you don't know how to do.

They all have the same basic principles... so eventually you'll get it right.
