Some more that i cant remember atm as well.

I didnt but I was at LBW and everyone knew...

Honestly I dont like to give "chances responses" because Im not knowledgeable enough to tell you how likely you are to get in. I dont think stats are enough to tell it... and besides, admissions to tops schools are so unpredictable that you never know.

just uhmm... "Some more that i cant remember atm as well." as cliche as it sounds, remember its quality not quantity.

If you just want me to increase your confidence.. then yes.. you have pretty good chances.. just remember that you have to stand out in your essays or something because ur stats seem just as every other CC users'.

You have the ECs + grades. With higher sat scores, you have a great chance (legacy helps too). the only downside is that international admissions are really competitive.

How much does LBW really count in the admissions process? It seems a bit unfair to favor LBW students, since the program is quite pricey. Just seems like another method of favoring more affluent applicants...

1) Penn DOES NOT favor LBW students. an admissions officer actually told us that LBW wasnt goin to get us into Penn, and that there's NO relation between LBW and Penn's admission.
2)Penn does not favor affluent applicants. I dont know the exact %, but many LBW students went with financial aid, including me; I know one who basically went for free.

How does it helps?
- It shows you are dying to study at Wharton/Penn
- Meet wonderful professors, one of which has to be good enough to write about him in the professor question.
- Helps A LOT when writing about the Why Penn essay.
- It shows you didnt spend yoour summer watchin TV and sleeping.
- There was about a 20% admit rate at LBW, which means that it was pretty selective. (I dont know, just speculation... but the adcom will realize that to be at LBW in the first place you gotta be both, leader and smart)
- There's a rumor... no one was a 100% sure, but that usually 45 out of the 60 students apply Early... and 50% of those who apply get in... High admit rate? yes, but that has nothing to do with LBW; they would have gotten in anyway.
