Any Chance I Could Get Into Fordham University?

<p>Fordham University's Lincoln Center has been my dream school. I sort of went through a really, really tough time these last few years and as a result my grades suffered quite a bit.</p>

<p>I just finished my junior year of high school.</p>

<p>These are my stats:
3.41 UW GPA
3.64 W GPA (I have had 3 honors, 3 AP, 1 "advanced" class(the advanced class doesn't affect GPA weighting)</p>

<p>Other info:
-I babysat and work as a barista at a coffee shop
-Have done Speech and Debate since freshman year(and hope to be on the team at Fordham)
-Have danced since sophomore year many hours
-Volunteer for an inter cultural foundation
-Have done Baking Club sophomore and junior year, but can't do it senior year since the club no longer exists
-Have played piano since freshman year
-I tutored freshman year
-I am a first generation american
-Would want to major in Political Science, minor in Creative Writing (or just major in creative writing) and go on to Law School eventually (hopefully)</p>

<p>Do you think there's any chance I could get into Fordham? </p>

<p>If your school uses Naviance, check that out to see how you might stand in comparison to students that got accepted in the past. This year about 20 people were accepted from our school, but they were good students nontheless</p>

<p>You certainly have a chance, depending on various factors. The Lincoln Center campus is very selective for auditioned performing arts majors, but I’m not sure how competitive it is for regular liberal arts admissions. I think they might like applicants who are interested in other departments.The overall numbers for Fordham include the more selective Gabelli School of Business. If you have high test scores, your chances will be better. </p>

<p>You have a chance, but have your parents run the NPC. Fordham does not give great aid.</p>
