I know I have really bad grades on ACT.
Hope to get better grade on next test.
Do I have any chances for Finalist or match?

You have a chance just write good essays.

Perhaps retake ACT or take SAT, shoot for 30+/2100+. Everything else about your application makes you a shoo-in finalist, and a good match candidate.

Just submitted my application. Thank you guys!

If you want to retake test, i suggest following things:

  1. WRITE ESSAY EVERYDAY. That definitely increases your organizational skill in short period of time. Use whatever prompts you seein test prep book like blue book.
Blue book is the best(by default…)
  2. Take practice test EVERYDAY for both ACT and SAT
  3. study vocab. i suggest Word Smart basic or 2nd edition.
  4. read passage everyday and record time.
  5. go back and forth between passages and qs in SAT ONLY
  6. USE RED BOOK OR barrons 36 for ACT

Thank you for your advice! I got 30 on last ACT test and I will retake soon. I chose to take ACT rather than SAT due to my lack of vocabulary. But I still struggle with time management especially in reading section because I’m a typical slow reader/writer…

you’re very welcome.
Use 3rd edition or any newest one possible. 1st and 2nd editions are too easier than actual tests are.
Take test everyday and don’t go outside and hangout! Use your time as much as possible.
But playing game in your house wouldn’t be bad. lOL
