When I was in college we had several amusing April fools gags. But that was many moons ago. When I was in grad school there was a news item about the local spaghetti tree (great video too). Any amusing ideas for today?

I prank my family every year. I mostly keep it simple and low tech, haha.
I put anise extract in my husband’s milk for his tea. There was a very small amount of milk left in the container, so don’t worry, hardly any waste. I watched for his reaction when he took the first sip. I was amused, be he was not, as usual. 
My sister hates fish. I sent her a tin of sardines, anonymously of course. Wish I could see her open the box!
My kids are out of the country/state right now, so I sent them prank articles last night, hoping they will see them this morning first thing before they remember it’s April 1st.

In college, someone asked if we’d get him a cup of coffee with half and half. We did- with half mayonnaise and half sour cream.

Woke up today with one kid telling me he had been bit by a venomous spider and was on his way to the ER while the other asked about tattoo removal because he thinks he made a drunken “mistake” the prior evening.
Our working assumption is that these were jokes but will update you as the days events evolve.

I actually saw a local ice cream shop posting a big long extensive statement about how their roof was severely damaged in a thunderstorm last night and they would have to cease scooping cones for a while. I thought for sure it was an April Fool’s!! But drove my it and nope, it in fact happened!
