Any clue as to when we'll hear?

My greatest fear is getting the letter the day after I leave for Spring Break; I don’t have the willpower to wait a week, knowing my fate is sitting on my desk, but at the same time I don’t want to hear over the phone.

Anybody know when we can expect to recieve our decisions?

I expect to hear towards the end of March (even though they say by April 15).

Apparently people last year heard in late March.

Last year some people found out earlier, but I'd wait until early-mid april, they did get alot of applicants...

Anybody else with any information

The website say's you'll know by april 15th... For EA they said we'll know by dec 24th, but I found out dec 17th. Like I said before, with the huge volume of applications it may take them longer. Good luck.

My friends found out last year around March 24-25 in Boston. It could take longer if you live farther away.

They send letters out in batches btw, so noone really knows.

Thanks for the information Phoenix!!!!!

My daughter heard 3/25 last year. We live in the 'burbs of Boston. The students in her school who did hear before her (kids were hearing maybe about a week to a few days before she received her acceptance) were all rejected, so we were thrilled each day when she did not receive anything. Last year it seemed like acceptances and rejections were sent in batches. The numbers are so large this year and now with the SAT mix up (the Globe said that maybe 200 BC applicants could be affected), there could be a further delay (I am only guessing on this). Keep the faith!

What SAT Mixup?

There was a "technical glitch" and about 4,000 students' October 2005 tests were scored too low. About 200 of those students listed BC as a school to receive the scores, but not all may have applied to the school. According to the paper, some schools will reexamine the applications of those students who were affected. The article did not state if BC would look at those students' applications again.

yeah i heard about that too. is there any site with more information about it?

I'm curious as to whether schools will reevaluate rejected students.
