Any down to earth sororities?

<p>I'm a down to earth person who does not live and breathe designer stuff. I'm considering rushing but want to know:</p>

<p>How much does belonging to a sorority take away from studying? Are any sororities less time consuming than others?</p>

<p>Is there such a thing as a sorority that is known for nice, down to earth girls with not too much attitude?</p>

<p>Is it even a big deal to join one because PSU is so big anyway?</p>

<p>I don’t know about the sororities but you could see if there are any professional ones that might be nice. I know there are frats that are co-eds or have little sister programs. Same thing with the frats, look for a professional one. As for actually rushing, you really don’t need to unless you want. If you have a group of friends, you should have plenty of fun.</p>
