Any econ major did not hear from UCSD?

I'd be real surprised and depressed if you didn't get into SD with a 3.55 mikoaper. Only way I could see you getting rejected if IGETC is incomplete or missing a lot of pre reqs.

No I finished IGETC and my two remaining major prereq's will be done by end of spring.

to mykris202...

3.55 can get into UCSD econ??? no kidding???

if it's true then there's a huge gpa gap between UCLA and UCSD...

whats ur gpa turn2jeter?

3.9 GPA. Still no word. I'm so anxious to hear back from them. I just wish they
would hurry the hell up.

what shot do I have at ucla and ucsd with a 3.55?

depends how many shots you take

to mikoaper

my gpa is 3.72 before winter session...

right now is 3.74

UCSD has a 67% admit rate for transfers.

http://studentresearch.ucsd.edu/sriweb/profile2004.pdf

^ has some info about Transfer GPAs, saying that the average transfer GPA is 3.4.

Sorry guys, that link is for 2004. I looked and the most recent transfer profile I could find was 2006 which reported a 64% transfer admit rate, with a GPA of 3.3. I'm starting to feel a little unsure about my chances at UCSD as an econ major with a 3.4.....

..... it seems no one got admissions these days.....

come on~~~

where are the econ people?????????
