DS20 is taking his second year of computer animation and digital media in high school and is very interested in this for college. He is also interested in playing football, which would most likely be as a walk-on (at least to start with). In doing our research, we just found out about Texas A&M-Commerce and it looks like a contender. We haven’t visited yet, so will try to get that scheduled soon. I like the smaller enrollment size and the smaller town environment.
He has already been admitted. Anyone with thoughts on A&M-Commerce?
I live near Commerce and its a great small town environment. If you come to visit you should go by the coffee shop on the square downtown called Mugs. Its amazing!!
@vonlost quick question: I had previously posted this question a few weeks ago under the Texas A&M “umbrella” topic and got no responses, which is why I posted again under the Texas Colleges forum. I was trying to reach a broader audience. A&M-Commerce is part of the Texas A&M University System but it is not a “branch” of Texas A&M. Any chance of moving this back to Texas Colleges? I realize I may get in trouble for asking, but I did have a reason for posting there. Thanks for the consideration. And thanks @CHartman0818 for the coffee shop recommendation.
