Any freshmen Transfer get accepted into the College of natural science?

<p>What the title says? Anyone that is a freshmen transfer get accepted in the science department?</p>

<p>I got in through the CAP program.</p>

<p>I got in through CAP but two of my friends haven’t heard yet from natural science</p>

<p>IMHO, transfers to the university, especially from the CAP program, are really hurting the university’s academic reputation. They come here and fail. If it wasn’t for CAP we would be right up there near UCLA, UCB, and UM if not ranked better then these schools. Instead we are the number 13th overall public school behind schools like UCSB.</p>

That’s an interesting observation. Do you know many transfer students that have failed? Could you elaborate on how transfer students affect UT’s rankings?</p>
