I figure there must be some good instructors at CAS. Also, my electric guitar's gonna need a good technician.

i've had very little time to play mine while on campus. Cornell will keep you pretty busy.

There's a really good store in the commons that will be able to handle repairs. Its website is rumbleseatmusic.com

They have some amazing guitars, but are soooo expensive!!! I bought my ultra-old and beat up strat from a place in chicago for much cheaper than these guys would ask. It's a dream ;)

Damn... When u said expensive, you really REALLY meant it. But i probably wont be buying another guitar for a long time. Got my new JS1000 early this year ;)
Anyway, what about instructors? I'm really hooked onto playing. Just cant seem to stop. And now that I'm in, I'm probably gonna play not less than 4hrs a day.

"i've had very little time to play mine while on campus."

Please dont tell me this is true.

hmmmm....
Hopefully I'll have enough time to play on my Epiphone Les Paul Classic and my Epiphone G1275 SG Doubleneck..........

Speaking of techies,

where would I buy guitar parts?

I'm a real stickler for changing my strings every month or so... and I lose picks all the time... would I need to order online?

there's nothing wrong with online orders: i buy most things online if they're not urgent. They get shipped right to appel, which is a 2 minute walk from my dorm.

ah I see... I suppose I would just bring a box of ernie ball strings...
