Hello,
I am in a sort of a predicament. I made the mistake in that most of the schools I applied to were top liberal arts schools - Pomona College, Claremont McKenna, Haverford. I did not get accepted into any of them :(.

I am still waiting on a decision from two great universities, and have been waitlisted at one. If I get rejected from the other one, I will feel the circle tightening and am terrified of that.

My safety school has been University of Maryland, College Park, but I really don't think it is a good choice for me, even though I've been told it's good at Economics.

I was wondering if people on this forum think I should still fight and go ahead and apply to schools that still accept applications (if so, which ones?), or settle for UMCP as a worst case scenario.

Thank you everyone! @happymomog1
I have actually completed two years at Montgomery College and am now transferring. I was in two honor programs, the school is great, but it’s time to move on. Just don’t want to move on to UMCP like the majority of students from MC.

university of Minnesota, Twin cities. excellent school. i think the deadline is june 1 or july 1. i am not sure which one but you should def check it out. i am going to UMD right now and I do not like it.
