Also: University of Illinois has a better Engineering program than michigan or any of the ivys (u of i is #4 for engineering in the country) and is easier to get into than MIT

U of I's engineering program isn't even in the same league as Michigan's, let alone better.

Cornell with 3.3? I doubt. You must work on your GPA before you can consider it your match/safety though... Cornell's acceptance rate is dropping (to 21 percent this year) I know alot of people who didn't make it and they had above 3.7.. but your ECs look pretty good.

Given your hs avg and that you are in TOPS, you might have a chance at cornell, brown, U of M an arbor, Johns Hopkins and maybe Columbia(but that's stretching)
BUt if you get really luck, then who knows

Now, i am going to be nice and give you some ideas :D
Do not put down DEEP at U OF T on your app, you know that stuff is a daycare, a waste of time! no grades, no accomplishment nothing! and schools know about it! so don't put it, it weakens your app.

And the math contests... what have you won? if you only got those top 25% certificates or top of the school... i think you can wing it

but you look like a pretty competitive applicant, best of luck :D

sadafbahaza-
obiously, idk your financial situation so i dont know how your loans will work out, but if u want to save money and get a masters, keep an eye out for schools who have programs where you get get your masters and bachlors in 4 years (of course it will be more difficult) U of Chicago offers 2 such programs: 1. In four years, a BA in Biochemistry, and a MS in Molecular Biology OR 2. 4yrs- BS and MS in Chemistry.

BTW- U of Chicago has an odd application process, and their addmission process relies heavily on your essays. Your stats shud be up there enuf so if u write an impressive easy, ull have a good shot.
