I know that it worked for the Feb test, but will it work for this one as well? :)

What exactly is this glitch?

It involved copying and pasting a link into your address bar and some other stuff and you could see a PDF of your scores even though they hadn’t been released yet.

The site is down for maintenance right now. Does that mean they are uploading scores? I think I read that somewhere.

I believe the requirement to check scores via the glitch is if your test date on the act website shows “tested.” If it still shows “registered,” then the test has not been graded or upload into the database.

the website’s back up now, but it still says registered for me… hopefully we can see sometime soon

It usually works beginning the Wednesday before 2 weeks have gone by.

Guys, it worked for me.

Congrats on your 36 efeens! I’m going to wait for a little bit before I check my scores.

Thanks, I went like weak at the knees haha.

It’s not working yet for our D - her April registration shows “tested”.

efeens44 did you take the writing test?

are you international?? did u take it with writing??

Worked for mine

Didnt take writing, and no i took it in ohio

I’ve searched for ACT glitch and its a little confusing as to how its done! it also appears that the student needs to have a prior testing /scores to use this glitch from what I have read…4/13 was her first sitting…

It worked for me back in December and that was my first time taking it.

^^In the past two sittings it did work a week or so before scores were officially released for several students’ first sitting as well as for many first timers and repeaters who took the test with writing. The original instructions posted on cc did not provide a clear path for first timers.

Use chrome or IE, not a mobile version

Log in to the ACT website

Find the student’s specific 8 digit code for this particular sitting. There are several methods to find it. I go to the Your Test Dates and Scores page and right click on the particular test date. The number appears on the bottom left of my screen at the end of a string. Once you find yours, save this number somewhere; you will need it later.

Stay logged in and go to the Your Test Dates and Scores page.

Confirm that your status is Tested (if it is Registered, we think this won’t work)

Clear the url box, but don’t hit enter or go, just stay there on the Your Test Dates and Scores page with the url box empty

Paste this whole string into the empty url box:
javascript:displayWindow(‘actibeCTsdScoresPrt.jsp ?pdf.x=1®Id=xxxxxxxx’,800,800)

Replace the eight x’s with the student’s particular 8 digit code for the particular test date

replace the javascript: after you paste it (if it isn’t there). I never have the problem of it disappearing, but some have mentioned it.

In the url box, remove the space between the jsp and the ? and any other spaces you see

Then hit enter or go

Your score report will appear, if it is entered in the system.

If you get this message, try again another day:
Sorry, your transaction cannot be completed at this time. Please try again later.

I will also add that it wouldn’t work to copy and paste everything, but when I typed each letter and symbol in- it worked.

It worked for me in Feb. (no previous score and w/writing)
Worked in April also. previous score and no writing.

Did not work with writing for me
