<p>This is pretty slow. Most schools have sent this already~~(even my safety schools sent them to me..)</p>

<p>How come you received I-20 forms from some colleges? I am very certain that most schools, and I believe that NYU as well, send the I-20 form only after you send in the matriculation fee. Did you already accept a place in the class of 2010?</p>

<p>it's the form that proves that you have the resources to finance your education in the US. It is one of the required documents, and perhaps the most important, in order to obtain a visa from the US embassy.</p>
