Any NMSC Finalists Out There?

<p>I was wondering about the essay that NMSC Semifinalists have to write. It says to write 500 words about my personality, extracirriculars, etc. Does that mean I have to write about all those those? or do I choose one? Is it like writing a college essay? Or is it really generic (One of the things I like most about myself is that I am smart, etc.)?</p>
