any of your children driving to Pittsburgh

I was wondering if any of your children were driving on Friday afternoon or Saturday morning to Pittsburgh for October break. I am looking for a ride for my daughter to the Pittsburgh airport so she can fly out from Pittsburgh to come home. Thanks.

You might try using the classifieds on the Oberlin web site to advertise as well - https://oncampus.oberlin.edu/classifieds/rides-offered#page=4

Note they have a bus listed that goes to New York and Washington DC in case the airports near those cities would serve her needs as well as Pittsburgh.

May I ask why Pittsburgh and not the nearby Cleveland airport? Even if you have to change planes at another airport to get home, that’s gotta be better than a 2.5 hour drive to the Pittsburgh airport. You can fly from Cleveland to Philadelphia or Cleveland to Detroit in a lot less time than it would take to drive from Oberlin to Pittsburgh’s airport. Actually, you can probably fly from Cleveland to Chicago in less time. And from Philadelphia (or Chicago) you can change planes and go anywhere. Might be worth looking into, if you haven’t already.

2Thank you. My daughter has now posted on the classifieds.

3 Thanks, but for whatever reason it is considerably cheaper to fly to Boston from Pittsburgh.

If the ride to Pittsburgh does not work out and if she doesn’t mind spending most of a day on a bus in each direction, she could catch the Oberlin to New York bus and then take one of the cheap buses from New York to Boston. That might even be cheaper than the plane although it would likely take several hours longer each way.
