Except not really. The only reason I mentioned it is because it’s weird. I’m talking about 4.0’ers and 2200’s/33-34s

Yeah i have kids like that too who want to go to northeasterm. Co-op is the only unique part about it, but the honors college is good too.

^ Very true!! Co-Op and honors is good.

But you know that moment when you walk on a campus and everything just clicks? That’s what it is like for me and NEU. I just loved it. The Journalism proffesors (I want to major in journalism) mostly have the highist degree in their area. They were so kind and I just looved it.

Everyone has what they like ^__^

NEU is not so great academically speaking. It’s VERY overpriced. There are state schools for a quarter of the price that are ranked much higher. NEU has a fancy campus and a fabulous website. They also have ritzy ad campaigns and a nice magazine. But it’s all for show. It is not worth the $36,000/yr in tuition, not even counting books, fees, and living expenses. It’s in a bad neighborhood, but NEU underreports the crime. The administrators are like corporate CEOs, out to get rich. The quality of the education is mediocre. It might be a decent choice if you want to go into engineering or criminal science, but other than that, save your money. It’s just hype.

You are entitled to your opinion.

I applied to NEU and got full tuition for NMF. Coop is nice, but I don’t want to live in Boston.

^
Congrats!!! and How!?!?!?
I did not realize that all NMF got full tution there. SOme schools change the prices or whatev.
Would you please share with me your stats and major?

[ul][]Engineering (Undecided)
[]SAT: 2320 (800-770-750)
[]SAT II: Math II, 800; Bio, 710
[]AP: Four 5’s and one 4
[]NMSF: Yes
[]GPA: 3.97 UW, 4.23 W

The offer isn’t guaranteed in writing anywhere on their site, but if you are NMF and have good stats otherwise I’d be surprised if you didn’t get full tuition.

wow. You sound perfect.
Once again, congrats on getting in.
This is my number one, so now I know what I should attempt to do to get in.

Thanks.

Thanks. Good luck to you!
