<p>Small. Lancaster is a nice place w/ stuff to do. Lots and lots of drinking and parties. They've got a really good pre-med program.</p>
<p>A friends son goes there - said it was impossible not to be in a frat and he had not great experiences with them. He's pre-law. Their required credit hours are different - he seems to only take 4 courses a semester - I guess they are very major intensive.</p>
<p>Kind of. I have a teacher who attended, and I think she loved it. English major. There is a frat and sorority scene, yes. But in general, the campus is in a beautiful, pastoral area and I know the geology/environmental research departments are strong. It's something of a well-kept secret. Someone from my school who graduated this spring is attending (she's a year older). I mean, I don't know that much, what I do know is from my teacher. It can be a stimulating environment if you pursue your interests. I don't know. That's kind of vague.</p>
<p>Probably shoujld go and visit it and make your own decision, if possible. S. visited it and came away unimpressed. The campus was nice, but not that "impressive" (in our mind) plus the side of Lancaster it's on seemed somewhat "seedy". I know it has a very good reputation, but just was not a good fit in our case.</p>
