<p>Hello, my girlfriend will be a student at UC Berkeley soon and I wanted to surprise her on her first day with a university sweater. Any type of sweater would do, whether it is a hooded one, a zip one, or a crewneck one, as long as it is a red one, because red is her favorite color.</p>
<p>I somewhat doubt I will be able to find one because Stanford, whose color is red, is one of UC Berkeley's biggest rivals, but I am going to try nonetheless. If anyone knows of a place to find such a sweater, please let me know.</p>

<p>I am trying to find a store, either a physical store or online, that may have a red Berkeley sweater. I have seen some unofficial/unauthorized stores that print funky colors on popular college apparel, so I'm looking for a store that might have what I'm looking for. Thanks again.</p>
<p>Have you ever thought about making your own? Get a generic red sweater, get some T-shirt paper, google up a Cal or Berkeley logo, and iron.</p>
<p>Though, I do have to say - it really won't flow well. It's kinda like having a NRA shirt that says ban rifles. I'd have to see anyone wearing a red Berkeley sweater.</p>
<p>Please don't do it, and if you need a bit of red, at least sneak it in some other way.</p>
<p>haha, strange idea. i have never seen anyone wearing or any place selling a red cal sweatshirt. closest thing i can think of that i've seen is a green sweatshirt and a pink sweatshirt.</p>
<p>I sincerely doubt any Berkeley student would welcome red Cal-logo apparel. Even if an incoming student THOUGHT they might, they would likely never wear it once on campus. There ARE pink Berkeley duds available for women, but I have never, ever seen the Cal logo affixed to the color of its rival. I cannot emphasize enough how unusual an idea this is and how difficult it will be to locate/create such an item. </p>
<p>If this thread is not a joke, which I suspect it is, then the OP should think of a new idea for a red gift that does not include the Cal logo.</p>
