Any Secret Societies at NYU?

Any secret societies like Skull and Bones at NYU?

if you have to ask, you probably wont ever have the opportunity of joining one.

Why not create your own?

I was thinking about it and was scoping out the competition. Thank you Timothy'sMother for that usefull piece of information.

What do you mean "secret society", are they like some sort of exlusive non-academic involved soroties/fraternities?

I've never heard of this before, so forgive the stupid questions

Yeah, I mean exclusive non-academic involved sororities/fraternities.

This is a secret society at Yale called Skull and Bones: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skull_and_bones

Well if you hear about it, then it wouldn't be so secret...j/k.

Secret societies exist at most private high schools and colleges, it's just that most are not as well known as Skull & Bones and rarely get any mention.

The Red Dragon Society, NYUs secret society......Please elaborate on this......

I can't find info. on this 'Red Dragon Society' anywhere....this is one pretty secretive, secret society. lol. Someone give me any links that will give me the rundown on them please. Or just post the info.

I tried looking it up, I didn't find anything either, except for that it's pretty old

Where did you find that...because I found zip.

If you're asking because you have a dramatic perception of secret societies and would like to somehow join one, stop. Most secret societies are open to the rich and socially prominent, and if you're neither of those, you're a nobody.

I am asking because I am generally interested in the school and want to find out as much as I can about it. If you are posting that to try and sound superior, stop.

And if you would have bothered to read my earlier posts you would realise that I don't want to join any existing society.

I'm sorry if I pulled a heartstring there.

:) this is intriguing! this reminds me of the movie Skulls....damn, to think that some people we know might become a member of one of these.

i know that the Naval Academy has a secret society for anyone who gets demerited above a certain amount....they get a special hoody in the mail--biut that's about it. :)

theres always the dead poets society..ahahha
