I am a Grade 10 student in Canada, and well, getting into Harvard is one of my biggest dreams. But our guidance teachers have no idea about American universities, so I desperately need some suggestions about my next two years remaining in high school.
What are some of the essential components to get into Ivy league? If I want to go into business, do universities care about courses like marketing, accounting and computer programming?
I have also heard that doing sports is kind of important, but unfortunately, I am not a sports fan. Are there any alternatives that are available?
Please help me as detail as possible.

take the hardest course load possible at your school, and find a few ec's that you are passionate about and excel at them. You dont have to do everything, just do what you enjoy and do it as best you can. your sat/act scores are also important too, so study and do your best for those. in your application, make sure that your essays really show you as an individual, and do your best to stand out to the adcom. also, make sure you do your research and apply to a number of universities that you would be happy at. dont get your heart set on one school before you get in there, especially harvard or another ivy league school where admissions is basically a crapshoot even for the strongest applicatns

You know, Harvard doesn't offer an undergraduate business concentration (major).
