Any thoughts on this schedule, por favor?

I know this is very individualized, you (probably) don't go to my school, etc., but any thoughts would be appreciated it.

Rising junoir, Psych (BA) and Social Work (BSW) double degree candidate with a probable minor in biology. Looking to go into either clinical psych or micro social work.

This are the two schedules I'm considering:

1

SW ### Human Behavior and the Environment TR 2:10-4:00 (required)
SW ### Social Work Interven. I MW 1:10-3:00 (required)
BIOL ### Epidemiology and GIS (honors) TR 9:40-11:00
PSYC ### Cognition MWF 10:10-11:00
PSYC ### Student Proctoring (honors) MTWR 4:10-5:00 and T 5:10-6:00 (have to apply to get in)
BMED Biomedical research (Self scheduled)
PSYC Psychology research (TBA, hopefully)
Honors Student Mentor/TA (no credit) Fri. 12:10-1:00

19 credits

2

SW ### Human Behavior and the Environment TR 2:10-4:00 (required)
SW ### Social Work Interven. I MW 1:10-3:00 (required)
BIOL ### Global/rural health (honors) TR 11:10-12:30
PSYC ### Learning TR 9:40-11:00
PSYC ### Student Proctoring (honors) MTWR 4:10-5:00 and T 5:10-6:00 (have to apply to get in)
BMED Biomedical research (Self scheduled)
PSYC Psychology research (TBA, hopefully)
Honors Student Mentor/TA (no credit) Fri. 12:10-1:00

19 credits

If I don't get into the proctorship, I would swap out that credit for either MWF 9:10-10:00 Intro to research methods or MWF 11:10-12:00 Child psych. disorders (both non-honors--I need 6 honors course and a senoir capstone to graduate with my scholarship intact... By the end of the current semester, I will have 4.).

The main issue is the difference between taking Epidemiology and Cognition or taking Global Health and Learning. Both Cognition and Learning would fulfill the same major requirement, but Learning is a pre-req for Behavoiral Modification, which I would like to take later, if possible, and it works better schedule-wise. However, I'm probably more interested in Epidemiology than I am in taking Global/Rural Health (both subjects interest me, but class-wise, epidemiology seems more hard science-y to balance out the psych/sw, and it's long been an interest of mine.). Thoughts?

Also, would it be better to take Research Methods (a requirement) now and apply for the proctorship later (an elective that fulfills one of the 4 required psych electives--same with Child Psych. Disorders) to ward off potential scheduling conflicts? I really want to do the proctorship, but it is offered every semester (and of course, if I don't get in it's a moot point, which would suck..).

Oh, and I don't have time, schedule-wise to take Learning a later semester.

Thanks.

It doesn't look too bad.. just be willing to work and you'll still have time to have some fun.
