For example, when you go to the parents forum, you see all the posts from all of the subforms mixed in with the posts from the top-level forum. I want to see just the posts from the top-level parents forum without the ones from the parents cafe, class of 2021, etc. all mixed in.
Where it has a button that defaults to “all” next to the button with the section name, change it to “none” to remove showing subsections. For example, in “Parents Forum”, you can do this to remove “Parents Cafe” threads from the list.
Thanks, but unfortunately it’s not “sticky”. Every time I go back to the forum it resets to All.
Oh, hey! I just noticed that the Parents Forum now defaults to “none”. So either it’s sticky now or they changed the default. That doesn’t seem to be the case with Financial Aid - it still defaults to “all”. Haven’t checked enough other forums to see if there’s a pattern.
@O2BonCC, yes, we can adjust the settings so that all parent forums default to “none” (instead of “all”). It’s currently done for the Parents Forum, but will be implemented for all.
UPDATE: This should be fixed now for all parent forums.
So was the intent of this “fix” to default to “none”, still keep “all” as a drop down option, but make it completely non-functional? I select “all” and it just stays as “none”.
So now I get to manually open every sub-forum.
(I only tried 5 forums - I assume it’s true for all. Even when I select a sub-forum and then try picking all, it goes back to none)
Agree that this is a BUG.
