How did you guys study for these exams?

I actually did not study through a book such as PR, Barron’s, or Kaplan. I just reviewed in my class. We played jeopardy many days. For English we did MC every week and essay every week under the testing conditions so I guess that was my studying, except the week of. The week of in all my classes we just had game days and ate tons of food.

Waiting for psychology, euro, physics B, and calc BC. I think I did very well on psych and calc. My score will be probably a 4/5 on physics since the curve is so generous. And euro was just horrible, I wrote off topic on both my FRQs so a 3/4 if I’m lucky.
I’m a little curious but I’m not dying to know anymore.
I used PR and Barron’s to study the day before the exam. Quite honestly, a day was all I needed since I put effort into those classes during the year except history. REA crash course was best review book ever for. Psych. Read the book in about 3-4 hours which boosted my AP practice score from 3 to a high 5.

No, I pretty much already know my scores.

@Blueny1997 I’m a rising sophomore as well taking AP classes, and just like you, I too have been taking AP classes since my freshman year. I’m currently waiting on my AP Psychology results, as well as the results for my AICE Psychology exam.

Next year, I will be taking AP English Language, AP U.S History, and AICE Thinking skills.

P.S: AICE is really similar to the IB programme except the exams are graded at Cambridge University in England. It’s kinda like AP.

Not really. I’m really only going to use 2 credits for college anyway, and thats AP Government and AP Us History, since I know that I know the material. Other than that, I’ll just retake them in college.

But I do find the wait pretty annoying. College Board is able to get an SAT back to you in ~3 weeks, but it takes an AP Test ~ 3 months. I know more kids take it at the same time, but still…

@Blueny1997

I used Review books and tried to answer as many essential questions on my own from the text book. You probably know about essential questions if you used the same AP Human book I used my freshman year.

“I’m currently waiting on my AP Psychology results, as well as the results for my AICE Psychology exam.”

@Bsosa45, They let you take AP Psychology Freshman year? And wow I’ve never heard of AICE before, but it sounds pretty great if it’s graded at the most prestigious university on the face of the earth O.O. We were only allowed to take AP Human Geography freshman year, so I’m just waiting on those results. Next year I’m taking AP Psychology, AP World History, AP English Lang, (I will start AP U.S. Gov and Politics this summer) And take AP Computer Science A During Sophomore year, I hope I don’t overload myself!..lol

What is PR? I’m only familiar with Barron’s and Kaplan’s, I do prefer Kaplan’s over Barron’s though.

Princeton Review

@Blueny1997 I’m going to do a few self study AP’s so I don’t have to pay online fees or spend all that time on it.

@Blueny1997 I think your mistaken; I took AP Human last school year as a freshman. This year I am a sophomore, I just finished taking AP/AICE psychology.

@Blueny1997 I’m not telling you what to do but that is quite a load. My advice: make sure you are taking these classes because you are interested in them.

next year, I am taking AP U.S, AP Enlish Lang (like you!), and AICE Thinking Skills

@ GoodActor: Okay goodluck:)! @Bsosa hmm… so you already started school? Because I finished freshman year on June 8th and I start school again(for my sophomore year) in/ around August 20th I will be starting these classes, and the reason I’m taking all these classes is honestly is mix between interest and the hope of become the Valedictorian of my class 2015.

@Blueny1997 I finished my sophomore year on June 7th. Next school year, which starts in August, is my junior year.

@Bsosa45 Okay that makes more sense! May I ask you your GPA?

I’m hoping that I got a 5 on both US and Comparative GOPO.

I think I may get a 4 on AP Lit, but that’s what I thought for AP Lang and I got a 5, so maybe the same will happen this year.

It’ll take a miracle for me to get even a 3 in AP Chem, so whatever.

What’s Comp Gov like? I’m taking it next year.

The AP head released that the majority of students will get 3 and 4. Low percent of 5’s this year of AP chemistry

The class was more difficult than I thought, but not too bad. It was very eye-opening, I enjoyed it. The exam is nothing at all if you came remotely close to paying attention in class.

Be forewarned, make sure your college(s) of choice will actually take Comparative for credit. A lot of schools will accept US but not Comparative, the one I’m going to does it, but I had to take both because of the way it’s set up.

Well, forget it, I got a 2. I’ve resigned to my fate.
