They will be available around 7 AM, according to AP Trevor. So far it seems as if they are sticking to that time.

@Asults Do you think I can still call in tomorrow( At 7am) if I don’t have my AP Number? Will they look it up for me or will they give me a hard time?

They should be able to look it up for you with other information.

Just your SSN is sufficient, I believe? maybe not.

@Astults okay.

@Pkim850 Do I have to give them my entire SSN? I really hate the idea of saying my entire SSN on a phone.

Hmm,
I am not sure, but you will likely deal with an automated system… so you will “enter” your SSN on keypad instead of calling it out (not sure how safe this is).

I really don’t like the idea of giving my entire SSN I mean isn’t the last four digits enough? I might wait until they send it out in late July just for that.

Is it worth calling? I am a rising Sophomore and I took 4 exams as a Freshman. I am anxious, but my parents are cheap so they do not want to call.

@Taco96 and @Blueny1997 thanks.

Probably not. But because of the nature of the AP program (tests administered in public schools and all that) CollegeBoard is required to meet certain federal and state guidelines for protecting your info.

@DavidSSabb94 I hope they do protect my info! That would be a horrible loss if they didn’t.

I really want to know my AP Lang score! The teacher said she’d knock our grades down a letter if we got a 1. Not that I’m expecting a 1, I’m just nervous at the possibility.

When do they get mailed to us?

Everyone just take some deeeep breaths (:
Personally, I don’t think $8 is worth it. Just stay off CC for a week or so while everyone who paid raves or cries about their scores and then get them in the mail like everyone else. You’ve already waited for almost 2 months, what’s another week? AP scores don’t count for much anyways.
Use the $8 to buy ice cream and junk food with your friends to celebrate and/or mourn.

If you don’t have your AP number, you can’t get your scores. You only have to tell them your SSN if you put your SSN on the form when you took the AP exam. If not, they won’t need it. David is right that Collegeboard has to protect your info - they already have it at this point anyway, so you’re not giving anything up.

The calling service is automated, so clearly a computer can’t help you through the process if you are missing things. If you can’t fill in the numbers, it simply won’t move you to the next step.

I’m nervous and stating up to hear my score!

@dancer4e:

That’s a brilliant idea! AP Score Opening Party! Especially in a summer when meeting up with friends is scarce…

^ Wait, that’s not a brilliant idea…

Some people would be disappointed if they didn’t pass, and they wouldn’t be able to enjoy the party like the people who got 5’s.

But the ice cream part sounds good.

Oh, AP Scores are going to be sent out next week! No use in paying 8$ when you can wait a week for free!

Lol, that’s what we’ve been trying to tell you guys the whole time.

Another way is to wait until around the 4th (I think) and contact your teacher and ask him/her for your score. You get it for free, plus you only gotta wait about three days.
