Anybody else going to open house April 5?

My son is a high school junior.

OP here. We did go. After the total zero lack of responses I was a little afraid my S and I would be the only ones there. Actually they filled their entire performing arts auditorium with parents (the kids were taken somewhere else). Beautiful day and we did learn a lot. After checking in they sent the prospective students to one place and spoke to the parents in another. We saw the recruiting video and heard and overview of Elon.
Then we chose which faculty presentation we wanted to hear based on the school/course of study our kid was interested in. I texted my S and he told me to go to the business school. He went to the school of arts and sciences. (He likes history, but thinks business would be more practical, interested in law school) His comment on the arts and sciences was that there were too many majors to cover in one presentation. I liked the business school presentation, but was a little overwhelmed since it is so opposite my own field/area of interest. The professors seemed very involved with their students. The students asked to speak were very impressive. Learned there is a dual degree program for international business with 2 years in France or Germany. Learned that some of the international study programs have a business focus. I was annoyed with one parent who asked a lot of very basic questions. I would have read at least the first page of the school’s website before travelling to the school.
Then we took a tour and met our kids for lunch.
To be continued…

thanks for the information - My S is not going to be able to make any of the spring get togethers due to current commitments at HS. So anything i can grab here i do. He has visited visited twice (me once) and one of those he did an overnight and stayed on Campus
