<p>Did you get a letter today about taking the test? The cost is $20 if you pay before the test. $30 if you pay after the test. My son received a letter giving him a time and place to take the writing test on May 10 at 9AM.</p>
<p>Mine says $110 before May 10th. </p>

<p>Thankfully D14 doesn’t have to take it, since she completed a college Eng. comp class last summer, so she is exempt from the test requirement. After hearing how much it is, or could be, I’m even more relieved!</p>
