anybody got the link for individual majors rankings ??

I remember seeing a post by alexandre of the statistics/rankings of individual majors of U Mich. Anybody know where I could find that data or that specific thread ?

Keep in mind individualized rankings will be for the graduate school of that department, and doesn't necessarily reflect upon the quality of the undergraduate department.

oh...... didn't realize that. But I would still like to take a look at that ranking :)

Here you go:

<a href="http://sitemaker.umich.edu/obpinfo/files/umaa_rankings.pdf#search=%22Rankings%22%5B/url%5D">http://sitemaker.umich.edu/obpinfo/files/umaa_rankings.pdf#search=%22Rankings%22</a></p>

Although Dilksy is quite correct in pointing out that many of those rankings are for graduate programs, at a university like Michigan, where the student body and faculty are as talented, driven and demanding as they come and where the resources and facilities are second to none, that usually translates to an unbeatable undergraduate education... assuming you are willing to take the initiative to seek it out.

From personal experience, I can honestly say that the Anthropology, Chemistry, Econ, History, Math, Physics, Political Science and Psychology departments are arguably better at undergraduate education than their graduate rankings may suggest, which is saying a lot because Michigan is ranked very high in those fields. I also hear great things about Michigan's Business and Engineering programs.

does anyone have theindivual rankings for ALL the school?

As Dilsky states above, those are graduate rankings.
