<p>Hey!
I am a Junior, and I am keen on doing my under-graduation in the United States. I am thinking of majoring in either English Literature or Political Science (or maybe both!) ... Just curious, if there's anybody else with similar interests, what colleges are you aiming for?</p>
<p>For some reason, those two majors are very popular with pre-law students.</p>
<p>Hmm … I can see why pre-law students would go for them. But I am not aiming for law, I am thinking of a career in teaching/freelance writing. The thing is, people like me, who are from outside the US get to hear only of the top - notch, super - prestigious colleges like the Ivys and miss out on the less known colleges that would perhaps be the right fit. I am hoping to get into a really selective college ( I have a very strong academic and extracurricular record, and there’s no harm in dreaming! ) but I don’t want to miss out on other good colleges I might not have heard of. Can somebody help?</p>
