Anybody seen Financial Aid Packages yet?

Just seeing if anybody that was accepted has seen any Aid Packages yet for Fall 23014?

Nothing on merit or financial aid as of 5pm April 1. I think an email will be sent to all students simultaneously with their information sometime between now and April 4.

Just got the email… Check your Wavenet.

Son received via portal/lWavenet. We just have a bunch of loans.

Sounds like from the bellowed emailed notification that merit monies would have been on the same Wavenet site if awarded any:

ongratulations again on your admission to Pepperdine University! This e-mail is to notify you that the Office of Financial Assistance has now awarded all institutional need-based aid and merit/academic scholarships to those students who qualify.

Got mine. I had a 27 on the ACT and felt like I had very good letters of rec. I am also an active COC member and thought my essays conveyed my faith pretty well. I applied for the AWP scholarship. However, I was only awarded $5000/year for the christian leadership scholarship which does not help me much. I understand they have only so much to award but I was expecting something higher. On this forum I had heard they could be very ‘generous’ towards COC students but I am very disappointed. Pepperdine was my top choice too…if any one else wants to share please do!

My D has a 32 ACT, 4.0 UW. 4.56 W, NHS President, Habitat for Humanity President, CC Vice President and Lion Ambassador Event Co-ordinator, excellent recs, 260+ community service hours and an international internship. Did not receive any merit scholarship. All other schools she received 75% of tuition +. We are beyond confused and devastated as Pepperdine was her top choice!

comment deleted, sorry wrong thread!

My daughter just received her FA package from Pepperdine. The package was almost entirely loans. She has been accepted to 7 top colleges …all of which offered excellent packages. We were warned by past Pepperdine students and parents that this school does not offer competitive FA packages. They told us Pepperdine is very stingy with actual money and expect most families to foot the entire education bill regardless of merit. We should have listened. They have a very nice presentation and location but that’s about all. After over a year of applications, essays, recommendations and extensive vetting Pepperdine turned out to be a big disappointment.
