BruinMichelle, you are fortunate. My community college will not certify my IGETC unless I have completed the courses with letter grades. (I guess because their Credit/No Credit policy grants credit for grade of "D" which the UCs will not accept.)

Dear Lord, life would have been SO MUCH easier for me this semester if I'd have been able to go c/nc!

Well, Lilo, don't feel so bad... I have to take out even more loans than you do. (i'm getting 5k in sub, 5k unsub.. and i'm going to have to find a signature loan for living expenses)

What to do about it? Not worry... have faith that you'll be able to pay back the $$ after you graduate! ;)

Another stressor is moving. I will have to move from Florida to San Fran. My boyfriend is starting to look for work, so we have to hope he finds something by mid-July when our lease is up here. I am also taking a compressed Organic Chemistry II course this summer in 6 weeks. Also have to take the ACS Organic Test... the list goes on. But, hell, I am going to Berkeley.. it's tough, but i'm trying to be happy about it :D

1) waiting for a decision when people got decisions over 3 weeks ago.
2) Dealing with finals when I might not even be here next year.
3) Not knowing if I have to fakily enjoy these people here or not because I might be here next year.

you CAN take pass no/pass courses for the IGETC, however, your school must stipulate that its pass is equivalent to a C or better.

btw, I found this info in the Answers for Transfers booklet on pg. 18., can't find anything about the unit limit though ( as BruinMichelle mentioned above).
