I'm currently studying abroad in Waseda in Tokyo. I'm currently in Korea because of Spring break, but I know alot of students were called back by their schools due to the entire radiation craziness. My school's private so they are giving us an option to stay abroad or go home.

I did want to stay in Japan until I heard people were cooking rice/ramen in green tea because they couldn't buy any water (sold out and tap water has been polluted. I heard it's back to normal levels but... people are still selling out water). and water is really important to me... along with electricity which we won't have. (definitely having power outs this year... in japanese summer hell...) I could live with heat, but water is hard for me to deal with.

And my school's giving me pretty dang good options. (free summer school, 16 units in one month to replace my japan semester) It was really hard for me to get to japan in the first place though, so i was hoping to tough it out for 3 months and go back to japan, but I don't want to risk my health... I'm gonna see until mid april and if situation gets worse, i'm just gonna go back tothe states...

And on top of that my parents are about to throw in a cruise ticket to mexico. tempting. anybody else/were studying abroad during the entire earthquake/radiation madness?
