anyone who was accepted NOT able to get theri NETID thru that website that was given to us?

I haven't tried yet- are you not supossed to activate your NYU ID until you're positive you're going? Or can I try now, even though I'm still not positive where I'm going next year?

please someone say yes =/

i have a feeling if you dont have a netID you're rejected...i just tested it with 5 other people who got in, they all had netID's

what's the login website??

Hello-

If this helps at all, I was accepted ED, I even have a recipt for my deposit, but I can not get into the system.

really? what does it say when you try to get in?

I've tried a few times now, and it says:

ATTENTION! we have not been able to verify your identity by matching our records of your ID with your date of birth. This can occur if our database does not contain correct date-of-birth information or if you didn't correctly enter your birthdate.

or:

Our record of your NYU ID and NetID differ from what you have typed in.

When I checked the website said something like "Note: You will not be able to access your NYU ID until April 4th". That would make sense after all.

based on the lack of posts, i think the general consense is that if you havent recieved you decision, havent gotten an inviation, and are unable to log into your account you can pretty much cross nyu off your college list. Can any1 prove me wrong?? Please!!!

hmm i used my NYUID and got my NETID, but I can't get on using the NETID

I dont think its related, necessarily. Im a transfer applicant, so I know NYU hasnt admitted me, but I can get an NYUnet ID. I think all you need is the NYU Id Number starting with N, and I got that in my second application receipt confirmation. I can log into my email and everything, and its completely impossible that Im accepted.
