<p>Someone please post when they’ve been accepted to BA! I’m pretty damn desperate knowing that Davis and SD rejected me, and I don’t want to go Cal Poly SLO. All I have left is SB and Irvine and if all that fails, CC for me.</p>

<p>I’m a business major and i just got an email from uci, but i’m too scared to open it. is it possible it’s a rejection?</p>
<p>I heard all the BA majors got accepted with their alternative major due to BA being a “restricted” major for freshmen this year. My friends who applied as business got in as undeclared. Hope this helped a bit. Also, they are still sending out the acceptance letters. Saturday was generally “engineering”, I got my Pharmaceutical Sciences acceptance today.</p>

<p>@collegeconfuse An email from uci about admission status change means you got accepted…I dont think anyone have got rejected yet.</p>
<p>I just found out today that I was also accepted to my second major “undeclared.” </p>
<p>So how hard would it be to get into the Business Administration major later? Is it worth even attending UC Irvine just for the chance?</p>
<p>I didn’t apply to Cal because the major wasn’t offered as a Freshman and the acceptance rate for those that get in later is not that great.</p>

<p>I’m not sure about the difficulty level, but someone who is already attending UCI told my friend to switch to Business Economics.</p>
<p>Anyone actually accepted to it though? My alternate major is psychology and I’m pretty sure all the psychology majors came out yesterday. I’m either rejected or still being considered for business administration…sigh.</p>
<p>@cbtnlove - Ah that makes sense. UCI’s undergrad business is not the most notable, so although my stats aren’t great I was still expecting to get into BA.</p>
<p>@saladbar10 - Personally, if you are OOS and did not receive any merit aid, I would not go to UCI for undergrad business.</p>
<p>@SoDoMojo - I live 30 minutes away from UCI and it doesn’t seem that I got any merit aid. My decision to attend did hinder on whether I was accepted to the Business program. Although my mom says I can transfer, I really didn’t want to do that.</p>
<p>I got in my alternate major-Business Econ instead of Business Administration! But still glad that I got in!!! 
Btw, my last name starts with W! So, guess almost everyone should get the result?

<p>Thanks for the response. You must be one of the honor roll or high stats students! They are still accepting people for business administration, so the rumor on the previous page about how UCI aren’t accepting people to BA is false.</p>
