<p>I’m trying to! I’ve applied to 10 colleges total (5 UC’s/5 Privates) and I’ve been either rejected or waitlisted to all. UCI is my last hope…</p>
<p>@ahahanjun SAME! i know how you feel. I’ve actually only received admission to UCR and lets be honest, ucr has a relatively high acceptance rate. If i don’t get UCI i’m not sure what i’ll do… for most of my privates i have to wait until June 1 to find out if I got in off the waitlist.</p>

<p>Rejected. Wow. I don’t understand. I got waitlisted to UCSC and rejected to UCI but my stats to UCSC are much higher than the students who got accepted. I don’t get it…</p>

<p>Is it just because we applied for BA? Or do they also consider you for your alternate (which I put down as biz econ)? I feel like I know some people who got into Irvine through their alternate</p>
<p>Yeah there were quite a few BA applicants who were accepted to their alternates this year. Seems like the only people accepted to BA were CHP/Honors kids, it’s surprising since Merage really shouldn’t be that selective. You probably got rejected because you put another business-related major as your alternate, and they couldn’t accept you for either I guess.</p>
<p>I got into Business Information Management on Feb. 28. Does anyone know how competitive this major is to get into? It’s interdisciplinary between Paul Merage and Donald Bren.</p>
<p>I didn’t get in for BA, but got into BIM. Like last week… I have no clue on what that’s about though . __ .</p>
