Anyone else excited about becoming a senior

I am. I will finally be at the pinnacle of my secondary school career. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm excited about being a senior too!!!! Class of 2006.....we've FINALLY made it!!!!!

yess. finally get it all over with.

I still don't really feel like I could be a senior. I guess it'll kick in once school starts and I have my easier load. I'm only taking three real classes this year. My schedule consists of AP Chem, AP English Lit, AP Gov, wind ensemble, concert choir, marching band, and hopefully Madrigals.

I'm so excited, its going to be so much fun. SO much better than last year

im taking my first 3 APs this year... calc ab, phys, and stats... im not looking forward to that. its kinda sad that my K-12 experience is almost over :( and after this year all the people ive known and grown with for the last 12 years will split up and we wont see eachother for a long time.

Taffy, I know what you mean. A couple of my friends are looking at Oregon, most are staying with the UCs or other California schools, and I'm probably going off to the east coast. We're all going to be split up, and I know that a lot of us are already sad about it.

... I'm the only person not too excited about being a senior...

It's just that I'm going to lose my close friends who are going to college this fall, but it's a good thing they still go to college close by (max 4 hours)! I can drop by their places and visit them still.

it's hard to come to terms with...1 more year and I'm off to college somewhere away from home...then everything just goes by that much more quickly...getting my own place and a real significant job... it's all kind of scary. I never quite pictured myself after high school, despite the fact that I've always been ecstatic about leaving home and living in freedom. It's getting a bit intimidating now that it's so close...By next April I'll know if I'm headed all the way to the west coast, or to the Mid West or if I'm staying in Boston or New York...wow....

but that aside, yes I am excited about being a senior.

Will see, for I have a big challenge ahead. I've never had an AP class till now, and I won't be faced with just one, but 4 of them.

I love challenges and risk.

I'm so glad that senior year is about to start. The entire time that I have lived in this area, I never caught on with having new friends...so I'm fine with leaving here. As soon as possible, I'm sending in my applications to colleges in the southeast...but of course, have to get through my classes for the next year as well.

No APs here, I'm more focused on finishing up my Computer Network Administration program and getting my MCP and Linux certifications. Then I've just got some honors English and a science credit that I need to graduate.

seniors 06!!! i am going to miss all my friends soo much, and i am sad that hs is almost over, but i am also SO excited to start a new part of my life and meet amazing new people! -06 babyy :)

What do u play? What ur show?

I'm dreading being a senior this year. For 12 years, I've been treated like crap and pushed off so all the pretty people could be happy. Now, everyone wants to act like we're all a big happy family. That's not gonna cut it. I'm not going to prom and I'm not going to participate in any of the stupid senior **** my school keeps throwing at everyone.

aw, you should enjoy your senior year! you only get one!

or two, or three

I cant wait. This year is gonna rule. Seniors '06!

Same... but I will be incredibly happy to finish off high school. :)

I'm excited! I hope my teachers are cool though, because for some reason, I decided to take some hardcore classes, lol.. :( :)
