Anyone else going to miss orientation?

<p>I'll be on a cruise to Alaska all four days of the Transfer Orientation, and I presumably won't be back 'till late August.</p>

<p>...but I'm still feelin' a little iffy about missing an orientation whose attendance is supposedly "strongly encouraged".</p>

<p>Is there anyone else who will be missing the orientation, whether transfer or otherwise? I'm still a little unclear on how class registration will go without an orientation to facilitate it. I certainly don't want to end up unable to register for the classes I need to take. =/</p>

<p>Im gonna miss it to, but as a freshman. I live in Venezuela and going to Santa Barabara would be far to expensive to just be there for a couple of days</p>
