Anyone else just finishing up now?

<p>I AM! lol... my essays are all done (FINALLY) and I had a revelation a few moments ago, after several failed attempts with double-sided sticky tape and my printed short answer on my most meaningful extracurricular-- I realized that you can just put it right into the PDF! wow i feel like super genius right now. </p>

<p>I now just need to put on a picture of me, which I'll leave to my mom in the morning... oyy I was up till 4 last night doing other apps, preparing for another long night with georgetown (my love) haha.</p>

<p>and I've just got to proof-read my essays a few hundred more times...</p>

<p>i wrote my 2nd georgetown essay at 5.30 am this morning and now i'm doing my "special skills"---whatever that is</p>

<p>I'm trying to transfer, so my app isn't due till March 1, but I go back to school next week, and want to get them all done, so I'm up till all hours too... I'm sort of jealous that you guys have to be all done by tomorrow, I'm still languishing around dreaming up special skills and talents... good luck, give it a kiss as you send it off in the mail, and maybe i'll see you next year!</p>

<p>For the Georgetown app, where did you put down your summer activities (ie. internships?) and any awards??</p>

<p>You'd need a supplemental resume for that.</p>

<p>Arrggh...any particular template for that? So far for my Common and UVA apps, it's been filling in boxes so no real "pretty" formatting was necessary. With a supplemental resume, I assume you'd need one that looked "nice" though...any tips?</p>

i spent like a million years making it haha</p>

<p>I titled mine "Additional Information for xxxxx" bc it wasn't really a resume, just more of an explanation of some activities I felt should have further explanation, and also a list of some awards, so it was all one page. Ahh gotta finish in an hour!!!</p>

<p>Ah nice, I just finished up myself recently...thank god the post office closes at 10 and not 8 =D.</p>

<p>Why, oh why, must it be mailed, anyways? At least I have a cumulative 3 minute time differential on my online apps (common app at 12:01, UVA at 11:56) ;-). I suppose its making sure I get it mailed on time, though, so I don't mind too much.</p>

<p>oh and sinder i'm just like you w/ sending at the last minute... the paper issue was that estrella was trying to decide if she should send her resume on pink floral scented paper or the blue "ocean mist" scent... tough decision, you know?</p>

<p>I actually decided to go with a light orange sheet with a citrus scent...I thought that'd make the adcoms wake up and pay attention.:)</p>
