Applying to: Sarah Lawrence
Admitted: Sarah Lawrence
What’s going through my head: I’m crazy happy I got in, I didn’t think I would especially since they don’t count SATs and I had a great score. But I’m terrified that transferring will be a mistake and that the reason I’m unhappy now isn’t my current school’s fault but my own. It’s like the chicken and the egg. Which came first? My depression or dislike of Ithaca? The only thing really keeping me from definitely accepting the offer is that I really enjoy studying under one professor in the politics department here. He’s helped me through a lot and is incredibly intelligent and is well connected. But other than that I know Sarah Lawrence offers a better education. I’m conflicted to say the least. The 75%/25% female/male ratio isn’t helping Sarah Lawrence either, trivial as it may be. Oh, and not to mention Sarah Lawrence is the most expensive school in the country and it would only give $3,000 in aid. But I still think I want to go. I don’t know. I’m so confused.
