<p>Yeah, there is crazy competition. (Slightly disheartening for people like me, with nice SATs but average grades.)</p>
<p>Actually, if you signed your test and then returned it for grading, but neglected to answer a single question, you would get somewhere around 720 (230+250+240), but this value changes because every test is centered, er curved, a little differently.</p>
<p>You can get a 600, but you would have to answer most questions and get all of the answered questions incorrect. A mission at best, even for someone with a lot of free time and a little money on hand.</p>
<p>This is ridiculous!
When I wrote the SAT (In India), It cost me about $150. Why would anybody sign up for this test and screw it up "just for fun"? Get a life!</p>
<p>There is this junior in my school who got an 87/240 on the PSAT. However, he got 20s in both writing and CR. I think he came from another country and has trouble with English.</p>
<p>people here pay $500 and screw up on purpose.</p>
