Anyone has consultant for their admission ?

Is he or she really help? Will it increase the chance to get in?

In Korea there are institutions called "Yuhakwon", which is like a place where people studying abroad go to.
Some help, some don't.. You just need to go to the right one.
My friend, for instance, has one and the place is a "yuhakwon". In fact, she goes to a boarding school(San Marcos Baptist Academy) and her consultant is like a teacher there or something.
I am not sure.
But I was told that many of these are convenient.
And EXPENSIVE.
They cost just as much as the school tuition.
But they are good.

I am not sure if I helped, but this is just something I know.

Thank you onelittlepanda! Do you also apply this year?

No, I'm going to apply next year. I still in 7th grade. :)

I have a consultant which is more of a friend of my moms but has her license as a education consultant. It helps a load for me since she's BFFs with a lot of deans of admissions :)
Haha

That's nice!

My friend in lawrenceville told me, one parent from korea is a consultant, ever time he came to visit school (like winter gathering, spring day....), he gave money to student clubs. He has a lot of clients who are in lawrenceville and andover.

Would it be Dunbar?
