Anyone have info about Cal State Northridge?

Since UMBC is your state school with in-state tuition, can you get a business degree/major in business and minor in media studies, then go look for a job in S. California and go to grad school at Cal State Northridge or USC? USC is the best school in LA for people who want to work in the film industry (famous film school).

To the op, there are many great schools not listed on cc. CSUN has many great programs. The campus is surprisingly nice. The dorms are suite style. Just like an apartment, two bedrooms, one bath, full kitchen, dining area and living room. There are sliding glass doors out to your own balcony. HUGE storage and closet space. There is a tram (like Disneyland!) that runs around campus so that students can ride to and from the dorms, if they wish. It can be a long walk in the hot months. If you live on campus and get involved, the commuter aspect is greatly diminished. The San Fernando Valley is just houses and strip malls. There are some clubs. L.A. is just a drive away, so there are things to do. There has been a significant push to get minority students to go to CSUN. This is a change from the CSUN of a few years ago. Take a look and see if it is right for you.
