So much for “reentry” for those of us who are cautious, especially anyone with medical vulnerabilities.
Our county has done pretty well with vaccines (65% vaccinated, 75% of age 18+, 94% of 65+). Sometimes I still wear mask in the stores, even though most people do not. I feel currently risk to me is minimal, but it’s easy to do. Also I hope in encourages the unvaccinated minority to mask up per the rules.
Fully vaxxed here. If I’m in and out of a store, I don’t bother with a mask. But if I’m going to be doing weekly groceries for example, I think I’m returning to the mask. In this bizarro world, the vaccinated I think will be masking up to avoid a breakthrough case that is fueled by the unvaxxed, who are the ones who don’t care, so they’re unmasked.
Masks everywhere in airports todat but no social distancing.
I see suggestions of this locally, to the extent that visible demographic characteristics correlate to both vaccination rates and mask wearing in situations where not required. For example, mask wearing is still almost universal in 99 Ranch Market, but not in other grocery stores. However, there is still likely a large number of vaccinated people who have stopped wearing masks because the risk of COVID-19 and bad effects is much lower after vaccination.
