@hshuang9686 Applied to nursing EA 2 do you mind posting your stats?

D was deferred for the Music Industry program. Guess we’ll keep our fingers crossed until April. She’s in at her safeties, but Drexel is her first choice.

Congrats to all who found good news on the portal today!!

Didn’t get into the Honors College with a 2140 (1390 M+CR) 2160 superscore (1410 M + CR) and a 3.22 uw yikes i know. I’ve taken pretty much all honors/ AP’s do you think it’s worth applying to later on? It says the app will be available Jan. 1

@woofxox I have a 3.93 UW GPA, 2040 SAT, took 2 APs and 4 honors courses last year and 5 APs and 1 honors this year, and I didn’t get into the honors college either which is honestly really surprising to me… I am definitely going to apply in January, you should too. people say that it makes the whole experience that much better and honors students get certain perks

wow okay. Do you think we have a shot of getting in? @ehelfrich

If you work really hard to try and get A’s for the semester to get your gpa up a little, you should have a shot because you have such strong scores otherwise @woofxox

I feel like they might be picking the top EA candidates in each major. Maybe there are more qualified applicants in your major. It doesn’t sound like they have too many students in the honors college.

Got accepted for economics w/ the BA/BS/JD Program and into the Pennoni Honors College. W GPA: 4.149, UW GPA: 4.0, ACT: 32

I got accepted with 1650 SAT (3-score) and only a 2.66 GPA (Was dealing with a lot freshman/sophomore year). So for those worrying and asking what their chances are, you have a shot. Although I believe my studying abroad in Germany helped me stand out, but who knows. Good luck to everyone else!

@rhandco you might be right, I applied as a BME major. Also it would make sense since they would want a diverse group of students.

Just got accepted into Honors college, ACT 31, GPA 3.5 If I didn’t apply for FA, will I still receive scholarship? The FA says it’s not available

They have merit aid and need-based aid. You should get merit aid based on getting into the honors college, from what I saw last year.

I’m just wondering if they are really waiting to tell people about FA in the mail, or if they will post it electronically tomorrow or some time in the future. They do get some people are comparing schools in terms of FA and want to find out the same time they are accepted?

I’m not sure about the CSS Profile being due December 16 - isn’t that for EA2? It’s two weeks from the EA2 application due date, same as November 18 was two weeks from the EA1 application due date.

Thus, not sure why there would be a delay for FA…

I got deferred for BME. 2150 SAT, 33 ACT, 4.56 weighted GPA, decent extracurriculars. Do I have a chance in the regular decision pool? and can I still get into the Honors College?

Accepted into the Nursing program!
ACT- 29 super scored
GPA- 3.75
New York Female
Loads of extracurriculars and a Varsity Athlete

How do you know if you get into the Honors College? I got accepted into the BME program but I cannot seem to find where it says Honors College. Can someone help me?

That’s crazy, any idea why? @stressed4lyfe I think you have a definite chance!

@Glencoe Honors college is under “Admission Decision” which is underneath the column that has the green box that says “Drexel University is pleased to offer you admission!” and it says “We are also pleased to offer you admission to the Honors Program in the Pennoni Honors College.”

I got into the honors college for engineering (undecided) 5 year, 3 co-op
2120 SAT, 4.1W GPA, lots of weighted classes, decent ECs (lots of work experience), from AK
I also shadowed a civil engineer which might have helped
Hoping that they’ll give decent FA…

I got into the honors college for arts and science. I applied to the accelerated preprofessional medical program as well and am still waiting to hear back.
34 ACT, 4.774 weighted GPA, 3.95 unweighted GPA, captain of 5 clubs + school council, lots of work, volunteer, internships, and research. From MA. When do they release financial aid decisions?

Hopefully! I just wish I knew why. It really bummed me out. Drexel seemed like the perfect combination of academic excellence and city-life freedom.
